 Growing up on the coast of Maine, Jules never gave much thought about the dangers of commercial fishing or the generations of her family that took risks on the harsh Atlantic waters every day. All that changed one day when her Grandfather's boat didn't return to the harbor after a sudden storm. Agonizing hours passed and the fear of his loss became unbearable, with no sign of his boat.  But one boat did ultimately come into the harbor - a Coast Guard cutter with a very thankful fishing crew on deck and there was grandpa!  That happy moment gave Jules a purpose: to serve both her country and her family, Semper Paratus!
